1. Description of the service

Parlana is an App that helps you create short videos: it generates content ideas, produces and refines scripts with artificial intelligence, and offers a teleprompter with front camera for recording. Some features require an internet connection and third-party services.

2. User account

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
• You must be of the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to accept these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• The App offers a free plan with usage limits and a paid premium plan by subscription.
• Subscriptions are managed and billed through the relevant app store (App Store or Google Play) and renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the period.
• Cancellation and subscription management are done from your account settings in the app store.
• Unless required otherwise by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. AI-generated content

• Scripts and ideas are generated by artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and validating the content before publishing or using it.
• We do not guarantee that the generated content is unique, accurate, suitable, or free of third-party rights.
• You are responsible for how you use the generated content and for complying with the laws and policies of the platforms where you publish it.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of the scripts, text, and videos you create with the App.
• You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the App’s features (for example, sending text to the AI to generate or refine scripts).
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and record.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, hateful content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Compromise the security of the App or its third-party services.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the App without authorization.
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription mechanisms.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on external providers (including xAI (Grok) and Google (Gemini) for AI, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and the app stores for payments). Use of the App is also subject to the terms of those third parties.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its brand, design, and software are owned by Parlana or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights over the brand or software beyond using the App.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet specific expectations of results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parlana shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including AI-generated content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or cancel your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms. We will post the current version on this page and update the date. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Parlana’s owner, without prejudice to the consumer rights you are entitled to by law.
